Brent Johnson

Brent Johnson grew up on a multigenerational chicken, dairy and grain farm in Westover, Maryland. After graduating from Washington High School, Brent worked at University of Maryland Eastern Shore as an Agriculture Technician. In 2003, Brent became self-employed and over the next 20 years built a thriving landscaping and irrigation business, which he sold in February 2023. In 2018, Brent was able to return to his true passion, farming, when he began helping his in-laws with their farms in Talbot and Caroline counties. After the sale of his business, the opportunity to sell for Tidewater Seed was presented to him, and he began on March 1, 2023. He is able to do what he loves best on a daily basis - talk to farmers, while also still farming himself. Brent's number one priority is to help farmers improve their bottom line. Brent lives in Easton with his wife Melissa and two young boys, Landon and Liam. Brent serves on the Talbot County Farm Bureau Board of Directors and also helps coach youth baseball and soccer.
